For Spring 2026, Texas Quiz Bowl will once again offer five evening Quiz Bowl classes. The various classes will span the quiz bowl curriculum and cover Arts, Geography, Literature, History, Math, Music, Mythology, Religion, and Science.
Each class is tossup-based and our experts will analyze each question for the students. We emphasize the importance of identifiers and other context clues. We discuss the clues students should remember. We talk about the strategies that question writers employ including sometimes trying to trick the student into a wrong answer. If your student wants to become a better quiz bowl players, there is no better opportunity that TQBA classes.
All Classes begin at 6:30 p.m. central on their day of the week and end at 8:00 p.m. central. Each class spans 20 weeks and costs $423 for the semester.

Texas Quiz Bowl Classes are lead by Dr. Christopher Romero who has 30 years of quiz bowl experience and is an expert in cognitive learning theories. We also feature a group of subject-matter experts to help explain the questions, including a biochemist cancer researcher, two Ph.D. students in history, and a veteran of University Challenge.
